Getting a new service dog! I need your help!
Hi all, I know it has been so long since I posted on my blog here. I have been updating on my medical status at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jenelle if you want to catch up some. I am currently recovering from surgery that I had the first week of January 2012 and am doing fairly well despite pain and nausea.
The most exciting news I have to report though is that I have been accepted to train with a new service dog through the organization Indiana Canine Assistant Network in Indianapolis. His name is Blitzen and he is a beautiful 2 year old yellow labrador retriever who loves to work. I think Kramer would be happy to know that I'm finally getting another dog. I don't currently have any pictures of him, but when I get one I will put it up here so you all can see his beautiful face. In the meantime, here is the Paypal Donate button in case you are interested in helping with the cost of the dog and training. Your donation goes through my paypal account and then into a Bank account that we are using to save money for Blitzen. His total cost after we finish training is $1300. I will also need funding for hotel rooms and money for gas to and from Indy. Excess funding will go back to the school or to help others who need help defraying the cost of payment for the dog. Feel free to email me or send me a note on facebook if you have questions. To Donate through Paypal just click on the donate button below. If you would rather send me a check in the mail that works too, just let me know and make sure that you label the check as money for Blitzen.
THANK YOU! Jenelle & Blitzen
